Tom Cooper's Old Time Melody was an interesting winner for Stonebridge fed horses on Tuesday at Fairyhouse.  Tom is based in Kerry and had in the past fed Stonebridge to achieve success with such Grade 1 winners as Forpaddydeplasterer, Total Enjoyment and Lucky William.  Tom yard by its own standards had been going through a quite patch and on reintroducing Stonebridge's purple bags to the yard again in recent weeks, saw Old Time Melody stay on dourly in the heavy ground over 2m 7f hurdle handicap to run a career best at odds of 10to1, under his son Bryan Cooper.

Bryan realised success in the next race, again on another Stonebridge fed racehorse, the 7 yr old Thunder and Roses who showed his metal to stay on stoutly in the 3 m beginners chase for the ultra consistent Sandra Hughes yard.  Looking through Thunder and Roses record it is remarkable how consistent he has run throughout his busy career.

We intend that this is feature of all Stonebridge fed horses - consistently healthy.
