Vic back to his Best - 17-01-2012

Vic Venturi kicks his campaign off to a winning start

In the words of Robbie McNamara the ground rode "a bit dead," but there is little doubt that the Scarteen Hunt provided a lovely consistent racing surface for their six race card at Kilfeacle in County Tipperary by kind permission of Mr. John Heney.

McNamara had just ridden Vic Venturi to victory in the Hinchy's Garage Open Lightweight. "He was brilliant," was the summation of the Limerick amateur after the veteran chestnut had given an exhibition of jumping from the front

Dessie Hughes trains Vic Venturi for Seamus Dunne and 'points' followers could get another treat by seeing this fellow in action 'between the flags' again in the coming weeks.
